Your Vesta wallet
Your Vesta wallet is created for you when you sign in with Google or email. It holds your tokens, and it's the wallet you use to send, receive and launch tokens. There's nothing to install and no recovery phrase to keep: you get back in by signing in the same way.
Open Wallet in the app to see it.
What's on the wallet page
- Your address, with a button to copy it.
- Network: tokens live on a public blockchain (Ethereum and Polygon), and the wallet shows one network at a time. Switch it to see tokens on another.
- Tokens: everything you hold on that network. Search by name, symbol or address, and star tokens to pin them under Favourites.
- History: your past sends, receipts and other actions.
If a token you hold doesn't appear, use Import token to add it by its address.
Send tokens
- On Wallet, select Send, or open a token and send from there.
- Under Recipient, enter a username, account ID or wallet address.
- Enter the amount. The amount you can send is shown as Available.
- Review and confirm. You'll see Transfer sent.
Some tokens can only go to approved investors. If the recipient isn't approved, the app tells you before you send; only the token's issuer can approve them. If a token is paused, or you're in a lock-up period, the app tells you why you can't send it yet.
Receive tokens
- On Wallet, select Receive, or open a token and select receive there.
- Share your address: Copy address, Share, or show the QR code to someone nearby.
Only send tokens on the network shown to this address. Tokens sent on another network can be lost.
Get paid from another wallet
The Receive window also has Send from another wallet, with buttons for common wallet apps. Each one opens a payment link in that app:
- The person paying you opens the link in their own wallet app. It opens a page for sending to your Vesta wallet, with your address and network filled in.
- They connect their wallet and confirm the payment in it.
- They see Payment sent, and the tokens arrive once the network confirms them.
Network fees
Every transfer on a public blockchain has a network fee, paid by whoever sends it. VestaScan covers some actions from your Vesta wallet each day, depending on your plan; beyond that, the fee comes from your wallet. See Network fees.
