Cap table

The cap table shows who currently holds your token and how much each holder has. It's built from the public record, so it always reflects real balances.

Open My tokens, select the token, then Holders › Cap table.

Cap table and approved investor list are different

On an approved-investors token, the Holders tab has two lists that look alike but mean different things:

  • Whitelist is who is allowed to hold the token: your approved investor list. Someone can be on it and hold nothing yet.
  • Cap table is who does hold the token, and how much.

Open tokens only have the cap table.

Who can see it

The cap table is private. It isn't shown on your public token page.

  • You, as the issuer, can always see it.
  • Your holders can see it only if your plan includes cap table access for them. Anyone who doesn't hold the token can't see it.

If your plan doesn't include it, the cap table shows you which plan does.

When it updates

Holders appear once their tokens arrive, usually within a few minutes of a launch, issue or transfer. If you've just launched, you may see Building the cap table for a short while.
